I joined Ilona’s January 4-week nutrition group course because I wanted to change a few things in my life to a positive. I wanted to learn new ways to express kindness towards myself. I wanted to get to know more people during the lockdown.
The way Ilona spoke and presented her PowerPoint presentations was excellent and it was quite easy for me to follow. Ilona brought in a lot of new ideas and things I didn’t know before, for example, all her information about blood sugar balancing.
I now have a better understanding of how carbohydrates, fats and proteins work together and influence our health, wellbeing and mind. I found out about what foods to avoid and learned about foods I’ve never eaten before.
I feel somehow calmer, more balanced since I changed some of my eating habits.
Weight loss has never been on my mind but the benefit I got from this course was feeling better with myself and that it is about mental health as well.
