2-week Keto Trial
The ketogenic diet has received a lot of press recently, and the most important thing to know is that this is NOT another fad diet. In fact, it is how our bodies are designed to function. Our bodies are designed to switch between fat burning and carbohydrate or sugar burning, a bit like a hybrid car. You can only run on one engine! We are designed to switch to fat-burning and using energy from so-called ketones, which our bodies create themselves naturally. However, today, as our diet constantly contains carbohydrates, we have lost this ability to switch to fat burning. It's a bit like a broken car that doesn't recognise that all this fuel is there, but can't access it.
In order to fully get into ketosis though, you need to be 100% strict and stick to eating less than 20g of carbohydrates per day. If you eat more, you lose the benefits. There is no 80:20 rule. This is why many people find it hard to adhere to it for a longer period of time.
However, for many people, it is not necessary to be in ketosis for a long time, and they see the benefits already in a 2-week period.

You will learn all the background and the science behind it, you will find out all the benefits and all the myths around it will be explained in simple terms. It will be a fantastic kick-start to the year to get your body into a fat-burning mode. And you will find out that a healthy diet can be extremely tasty!
